12-day cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Amsterdam, Holland: We flew to Amsterdam before two days before the cruise and explored the city sites and the countryside. Our favorite place was Edam a small country village outside of the city center known for its cheese.

Berlin, Germany: We took at 3 and 1/2 hour train ride into Berlin from Rostock where the cruise ship docked. Once we arrived in Berlin we were met by a tour guide who showed us the major sites in Berlin on water and bus. We returned to the ship very late.

Helsinki, Finland: We took a bus ride to the little town of Porvoo before returning to Helsinki and explored the sights of the city.

St Petersburg, Russia: on our first day we took a bus to the summer palace of Catherine. Then a traditional Russian lunch that started with caviar and vodka. Afterward, we toured three different cathedrals in various stages of repair.

St. Petersburg Day 2:. A visit to the Hermitage museum A huge collection of art. You could spend two days here. We spent 2 hours.


















Tallinn, Estonia: We visited the old town behind the walls of the new town. Then we walked around the new part of town and visited several artisans' shops. Then it rained.



















Stockholm, Sweden:. Consists of the Mainland and 14 islands. We went on a scenic cruise around Djurgarden and a bus tour of the city before the afternoon downpour.
Leaving the city of Stockholm we sailed for 5 hours along the archipelagos.


Copenhagen, Denmark:. The first stop on our tour was the Tivoli Garden and then a boat ride through the cities' canals. The architecture was one of the highlights of the city and I took a lot of pictures from the canal boat.

Then back to Amsterdam for another day before heading home.
